For Veterinarians, Municipalities & Referring Professionals
A certified behavior consultant you can refer with confidence
I work with veterinarians, veterinary behaviorists, and the City of Airdrie to support dogs with aggression, fear, reactivity, and other complex behavior concerns. I also support families in Calgary.
I'm certified through both the IAABC and the CCPDT, and I use humane, science-based methods only.
How to Refer
- Share my website with your client.
- Your client fills out the waitlist form and names who referred them.
- I review every form personally and reach out to the family.
Cases I see
Families are often referred to me when a dog's behavior is affecting safety, quality of life, or the ability to handle the dog for care.
- Aggression toward people
- Aggression toward dogs
- Conflict between dogs in the home
- Bite history
- Fear and anxiety
- Reactivity
- Resource guarding
- Handling and vet visit stress
What you can expect
I see myself as one part of the dog's care team.
Working alongside your medical plan
Diagnosis and medication decisions stay with the veterinary team. I build my training plan around your medical plan, and I refer back if I suspect pain or a health concern may be contributing to the behavior.
Collaboration
With the client's permission, I'm happy to communicate with the referring clinic and coordinate with veterinary behaviorists on shared cases.
Humane methods only
I follow a least invasive, minimally aversive approach. I don't use shock, prong, or choke collars, or other punishment-based tools.
A realistic plan
Every family gets a plan built around safety, management, and their real daily life, so it's something they can actually follow.
For municipal and bylaw referrals
I work with the City of Airdrie and support families in Calgary who have been asked to address a bite or a complaint. I can help them put a safety and training plan in place.
Sessions are available in person in the Airdrie area, or virtually anywhere in Canada.
- Safety and management plan to reduce risk right away
- Behavior assessment and a written training plan
- Ongoing support as the family works through the plan
- Coordination with the family's veterinarian
