Behavior Consulting

If your dog is experience fear, anxiety, reactivity, aggression, or other unwanted behaviors, you're not alone, and I'm here to help. I work with dogs of all ages through individual behavior consulting, offering assessments, guidance, and ongoing support tailored to what you and your dog are going through.

How It Works

Behavior consulting starts with understanding what's really happening. Not just what the behavior looks like, but why it's showing up in the first place.

During an assessment, we will look at your dog's history, environment, and daily routines together. We'll identify triggers and early warning signs. We'll talk through practical ways to reduce risk and help your dog feel safer, and we'll create a plan that fits your household and feels manageable for you.

The goal is clarity and support. You'll leave with a better understanding of your dog's behavior, a sense of what to focus on first, and next steps that feel realistic, not overwhelming.

What I Can Help With

I work with dogs experiencing aggression toward people or other dogs, bite incidents or close calls, lunging or freezing on leash, fearful or shut-down behavior, separation anxiety, excessive barking, and concerns about safety around children or visitors.

Whatever you're seeing, if it worries you, it matters. We can talk through it together.

My Approach

Behavior challenges can feel isolating, especially when you're not sure what's causing them or how to help. My work is based on behavior science and thousands of hours of continuing education in behavior modification. I don't work from templates or quick fixes. Every dog is different, and every situation requires a thoughtful, individualized approach that honors where you and your dog are right now.

Get Started

The first step is a complimentary phone call. We'll talk about what you're seeing, what concerns you most, and what kind of support might be most helpful. We'll also discuss pricing, availability, and package options. From there, we can decide together whether behavior consulting, private training, or something else is the right next step for you and your dog.
